My new favourite thing is getting paid to draw. I've discovered that it's not just a long lost quiet hope of mine. So recently, I've been spending my days off with this new side job that only requires me to wield a pencil. It's a lot better than my actual job. Which mostly requires me to teach people how to fold towels and sell a crock pot. So I'm sure you can understand how excited I am to finally go back to school in September. Very. It's taken me over ten years, but I'm thinking I might've had it right in grade four when I proclaimed I was going to be an art teacher. on love

0 min read
Who was the first person to pick up a pen, or a quill, or grab a rock and chisel to write 'I love you' with it? To whom did they write it for? Did they really mean it? Did the recipient even understand it to appreciate it? Was the feeling mutual? Does anyone ever stand in front of a mirror, look themselves in the eye and say, "I love you" out loud? If not, why not? Would it be deemed narcissistic? If so, why? What does love mean to us? Does it mean something unique to everyone? What does it mean to you? love, danielle
